The success of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance relies on the collaboration and engagement of our communities. There are many ways you can become involved and support the GLHA.
1. Join a task force.
The GLHA is always looking for new community members to join task forces and to collaborate on addressing the issues our communities face. All task force meetings are open to the public and all are welcome! Check out our calendar for a list of meetings.
2. Participate in the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment
Every three years the GLHA works to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment for Greater Lowell. This process includes approximately 40 focus groups and key informant interviews that engage over 300 people and collect 3000 surveys. We will be collecting this information through April 15, 2025. Please take the survey!
3. “CHIP” in.
In 2026 the GLHA will embark on the creation of the 2026 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), which will guide our region’s investment of resources over the next three years–but we need you to make it happen! Participate in or lead a work group. Promote within your organization. However you choose to “CHIP in”, you will be an integral part of this important community initiative.
We invite you to join with us as we share ideas and solutions to enrich the Greater Lowell community. Utilize and share the community resources that help address unmet health needs. Join a task force that addresses a health need that interests you. Attend or request to be a presenter at one of our network meetings.
Together, we are improving the health of our community and making a positive difference in the lives of those who live, work and visit the Greater Lowell region.
